Recipe Created By: Robbie
Serves: 4

2 lbs. raw jumbo shrimp - peeled, deveined
3 cloves garlic - minced
1 lemon - juice of
1 cup olive oil OR vegetable oil
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 Tbls. hot sauce
1 Tbls. tomato paste OR 2 Tbls. tomato ketchup
1 Tbls. minced fresh oregano OR 2 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper

Ingredients at Firehouse Pantry

-Combine all ingredients in large sealable plastic bag.
-Marinade at room temperature for 2 hours.
-Thread shrimp onto bamboo skewers.
-Grill shrimp over medium-low flame for 5 minutes on each side, basting frequently with left-over marinade.

Notes: This makes the best shrimp! Remove from skewers and serve on a bed of pasta with sauce for a great meal.

Make It A Meal: Serve over Fettuccine Alfredo like Olive Garden's® with Rosemary Garlic Focaccia

  • I used just four or five drops of hot pepper sauce as my granddaughter would be eating it. She loved it.

  • We just had the Grilled Marinated Shrimp tonight. It was so simple to do and tasted GREAT! We had them with our marinated Steaks like Outback's  and a salad with the dressing like Olive Garden's each recipe was simple and the results were AWESOME! Thanks for the great website, I have already forwarded it to my family and friends.

  • this is a great recipe for shrimp

  • Tried this for the first time yesterday, and it was fantastic. Very easy to prepare. My wife loved it. The marinade was very tasty. I'm going to try it with swordfish next time.

  • This is REALLY good! I used jalapeno Tabasco for the hot sauce and it was awesome!! Quick, easy & delicious! Thanks Robbie!

  • Instead of grilling I put them under the broiler for about 6 minutes and served them warm over tender wilted baby greens as an appetizer. It was a hit!

  • This recipe was very delicious! I would highly recommend it. I halved the recipe and used a little ketchup instead of the tomato paste and it turned out great!

  • This recipe was great, especially since this was my first time ever attempting to cook grilled shrimp. It was superb, easy and will definitely be tried again in the near future. Thanks Robbie!

  • You are awesome!!!!!! My wife and I have made several of your recipes and we have had an "excellent" outcome every time. Your even making me famous at work with some of the leftovers. You ROCK!!
