Notes: This is a great way to get rid of leftovers. It can even be prepared, up to the point of being baked, then frozen for later use.

Make It A Meal: Serve with Italian Minestrone Soup and Garlic Rolls.

(3) Visitor Comments:

  • It was so good my son-in-law complained all night about eating to much.

  • This is my husband's FAVORITE meal! It is a great dish to prepare ahead of time...we like it even better the next day.

  • I have this recipe in my cookbook, listed under "Favorites". I prepare this all the time for my family. It is simple and although seems to have a similarity to lasagna, it does seem to taste different. We love it!!
