12 oz. package chocolate chips
1 cup applesauce Click here for the recipe!
1 tsp. almond extract
5 cups confectioners sugar
2/3 cup maraschino cherries - chopped
1 cup chopped walnuts
3 1/2 oz. can angel flake coconut

-Combine chocolate chips, applesauce, and almond extract in heavy saucepan.
-Stir over low heat until chocolate is melted and blended with applesauce.
-Stir in the confectioners sugar, maraschino cherries, and the walnuts.
-Chill about an hour, or until firm.
-Shape into 1 1/2" balls and roll in coconut.

Notes: Delicious candy balls. Easy to make. Gets rave reviews
