Philly Cheesesteak Pizza

Prep. Time: 0:40
Serves: 8

1 med. onion - sliced
1 med. green bell pepper - sliced
8 oz. mushrooms - sliced
1 Tbls. olive oil
8 oz. roast beef - shaved
3 Tbls. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1 recipe Sicilian Thick Crust Dough

3 Tbls. olive oil
1 tsp. minced garlic
4 cups shredded provolone cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Ingredients at Firehouse Pantry


-Sauté vegetables in olive oil until limp; add roast beef; sauté and additional 3 minutes.
-Add Worcestershire sauce and pepper; stir; remove from heat; set aside.
-Brush prepared dough with olive oil and spread crushed garlic over entire surface of dough.
-Top with a light layer of shredded cheese, then meat and vegetable mixture, distributing evenly.
-Top with remaining shredded cheese, then Parmesan.
-Bake in a 500 degree oven until cheese is melted and bubbly.
-Let sit 5 minutes before cutting and serving.

  • Just finished this up and it was excellent! I was looking for something like Domino's Philly Cheesesteak because they've discontinued it here, and I must say, this was better. I actually used a Pillsbury crust because I'm not the kneading-dough type, and it was still great. Takes a little longer than I expected even with the premade crust, but worth it.

  • WOW! This pizza was so delicious! My husband and I both loved it. It's such a great way to make a simple meal from leftover roast beef. It's definitely a new favorite!!!
