Low-Fat Layered Pizza Dip

8 oz. reduced-fat cream cheese - softened
1/2 cup chunky pizza sauce Click here for the recipe!
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/3 cup sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup minced onion
1 cup reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese

-Layer all ingredients in a 9" pie plate in order listed, starting by spreading cream cheese evenly over bottom of the pie pan.
-Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes or until dip is hot and cheese is melted

Notes: Serve warm with crackers or chips.

  • very good even better served w Italian bread pieces.
  • Super. I made this last night for my boyfriend, only I ate 3/4 of it before he got home!
  • I make a similar dip, but add garlic powder and Italian seasoning to the cream cheese. I top with diced pepperoni (which could be left off for a healthier alternative) and topped with Mozzarella cheese which is more Italian. I serve with French or Italian bread cubes, as well. Or can use as a veggie dip.
