Scented Cinnamon Ornaments

Yield: about 10 ornaments
Prep. Time: 3 days, 30 minutes

1 cup ground cinnamon
3/4 cups applesauce
2 Tbls. white Elmer's® glue
1 Tbls. ground cloves
1 Tbls. ground nutmeg

-In a bowl, fold together all ingredients with your hands until mixed through.
-Roll out to 1/8" - 1/4" thick and cut into desired shapes with a cookie cutter.
-With a nail, poke holes near the top; this hole will later be used to place a ribbon in.
-Allow to dry for 3 days on cookie racks covered with waxed paper, turning once daily.
-Pull a ribbon through the hole and tie in a bow.

Notes: The scent lasts up to 5 years. Cut into desired shapes and give as gifts. Not for consumption.
