Double Chocolate Cookies

2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 1/4 cups unsalted real butter - softened
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Ingredients at Firehouse Pantry


-Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
-With an electric mixer, cream together sugar, butter, and vanilla.
-Beat in eggs until fully incorporated.
-Slowly beat dry mixture into wet mixture.
-Fold in chocolate chips by hand.
-Drop batter by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
-Bake in a 350 degree oven for 8 - 10 minutes.
-Allow to cool on cookie sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
