Cheese Powders at Firehouse Pantry

Sweet Barbeque Baked Beans
Don't just open the can, heat, and serve!
Add flavor to this favorite side dish.

Prep. Time: 1:45
Serves: 8-12

32 oz. can pork and beans
1 lrg. onion - chopped fine
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 Tbls. prepared yellow mustard
1 tsp. distilled white vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 lb. raw bacon (optional, but recommended)

Ingredients at Firehouse Pantry

-Combine all ingredients, except bacon, in a 2 quart casserole dish.
-Top beans with strips of bacon in a crisscross pattern.
-Cover with aluminum foil.
-Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours.
-Remove foil for last 30 minutes of baking.

Crock Pot Directions: If using bacon, chop and brown briefly in a hot skillet. Combine all (including bacon grease) in a crockpot set on high heat. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, then reduce heat to low. Add small amounts of water as necessary and stir every 30 minutes.

Make It A Meal: Serve with Motor Oil Chicken and Refreshing Fruit Salad
