Prep. Time: 24 hours or less (see Notes)
Serves: 4-8

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
6 oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate
12 oz. can frozen lemonade concentrate
46 can oz. pineapple juice
2 cups strong brewed tea
2 cups bourbon whisky
lemon-lime soda - as needed

-Combine all ingredients in large plastic sealable container.
-Place in freezer for 24 hours, stirring every 4 hours.
-Spoon into glasses, leaving 1" - 2" space to the top of the glass.
-Fill glass with lemon-lime soda.

Notes: This can also be made in an ice cream maker for faster results.

  • i think this is a really great recipe, especially for dinner parties on family get togethers.

  • I personally like more of an orange flavor in my bourbon slush...so I reverse the amounts of lemonade and orange juice.  This recipe is marvelous (either way) and is fabulous for outdoor summer parties.  But, be careful!  This drink goes down very easily, but can pack quite a wallop!
