Pecan Pie

1/2 cup butter OR margarine
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
3 eggs - beaten
1 cup chopped pecans
(1) 9" unbaked pie shell

-In saucepan, melt butter.
-Mix in sugar and corn syrup until sugar dissolves.
-Stir in eggs. Mix well.
-Stir in pecans.
-Pour hot mixture into the pie shell and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
