Potatoes à la Southern of Sweden
(Potatismos)

2 1/2 Lbs. potatoes
- peeled, sliced
1/2 - 1 cup milk - low fat okay
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbls. granulated sugar - optional
1 tsp. black pepper - optional
1 Tbls. butter
-Boil sliced
potatoes in salt water until tender.
-Mash the boiled potato slices thoroughly with an
electric mixer. There should be as few lumps as possible.
-Add butter and mix together.
-Add milk an mix together until it is a smooth batter.
-Add sugar, salt and pepper. Stir.
