Chocolate
Bar Cake like

2 1/2 cups
all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups granualted sugar
1 cup butter OR margarine
1 tsp. vanilla extract
5 eggs
1 1/2 cups sour cream
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup corn syrup
8 oz. Hershey's® milk chocolate bar - chopped
1/2 cup Hershey's® chocolate syrup
-Combine flour,
baking soda, and salt; set aside.
-Cream together sugar, butter, and vanilla.
-Beat in eggs, one at a time.
-Alternate beating in small amounts of dry mixture and
sour cream.
-Transfer 2 cups of batter to a separate bowl; stir in
pecans and corn syrup; set aside.
-Microwave chocolate bar and chocolate syrup on 50% power
just until chocolate is melted, stirring every 30
seconds.
-Stir chocolate mixture into larger bowl of batter.
-Pour larger bowl of batter into a greased Bundt pan;
spoon smaller bowl of batter into pan.
-Bake in a 325 degree oven for 70 minutes, or until a
toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
-Allow cake to cool in pan for 10 minutes, then invert
cake onto a wire rack and cool completely.
NOTES : Serve with
chocolate syrup drizzled over top.
