Crab
Rangoon like

Serves : 6-8

1 tsp. butter OR
margarine
1/4 med. onion - minced
(2) 8 oz. packages cream cheese - room temperature
1 package imitation crab meat
salt and pepper - to taste
garlic salt - to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 package won-ton wrappers
1 egg - beaten
vegetable oil - for frying
-Saute onion in
butter, untill soft.
-Add cream cheese, crab, pepper, salt, and garlic salt,
and cheese. Mix well.
-Put a scant Tablespoonful of filling on wonton wrapper.
-Brush egg on the edges, fold over in a triangle shape,
and seal edges.
-Freeze in Ziploc® bag.
-Cook when frozen: Deep fry in medium to medium hot oil,
turning once, until golden brown. Drain on paper towel.
NOTES: Serve with
tarter sauce or cocktail sauce. If you do not freeze them
first, you may loose filling when you cook them.
