Beef Stroganoff

1 Lb. round steak -
cut into strips
2 Tbls. margarine
3/4 cup water
2 cans condensed golden cream of mushroom soup
1 can sliced mushrooms - drained
1 cup sour cream
salt and pepper - to taste
-In a saucepan,
brown steak strips in margarine.
-Pour in water and simmer, covered, for 25 minutes over
low heat.
-Stir in soup and mushrooms and simmer, stirring often,
for 30 minutes over low heat.
-Stir in sour cream and season with salt and pepper.
NOTES : Serve over
wide egg noodles.
