Championship Barbecue
Sauce

Yield: approx. 3 cups
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 Tbls. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbls. ground mustard
1 tsp. liquid smoke OR 1/2 tsp. hickory smoke powder
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. garlic powder or granulated garlic
1 tsp. onion powder or granulated onion
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. hot sauce - optional
-Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend for 1 minute.
-Pour into a sealable container, cover, and refrigerate.
-Tastes best of refrigerated overnight before using.
