Almost Old Bay® Seasoning
The all time classic Maryland spice no kitchen is complete without.

Yield: 1/4 cup
Prep. Time: 0:05

1 Tbls. ground bay leaves
2 1/2 tsp. celery salt
1 1/2 tsp. ground mustard seed
1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
3/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1/4 tsp. ground mace
1/4 tsp. ground cardamom

-Combine and store in an air-tight container.

Notes: Use on seafood, poultry, salads, meats, and more. Makes delicious boiled crabs and shrimp. Try it on French fries with vinegar.

I needed this on Christmas Eve, since we were making shrmp cocktail, and I didn't have time to go to the store. Tasted great! Thanx!
I'm a native Marylander and have loved Old Bay ever since I could toddle up to the table and steal away with a steamed blue crab! With this recipe I'll never run out when I travel to places that 'never heard of it'...thanx a mil!
