I didn't
have corn flakes around the house, so I substituted Ritz crackers in the
Shake and Bake recipe. Oh my gosh , my family loves it!
oh
man! this chicken just made me smile. it was soo scrumptious, i
cannot wait to eat it again. definately an orgasm in my mouth.
I
tripled the recipe and stored it in a Mason jar. It kept well for
several weeks. I also didn't have corn flakes, so I used
breadcrumbs. It worked great and my family loved it. This is, by
far, the best Shake and Bake recipe I have tried.
Very good recipe. The only thing different that I did was to add 1
teaspoon of cayenne pepper. We like our food a little hot. We don't
buy shake and bake anymore. Thanks for the great recipe.
No
one has ever accused me of being able to cook. Dinner's done when
the smoke alarm goes off! My husband has an allergy to MSG, and
Shake and Bake is full of it! I tried this recipe, hoping for the
best, and was amazed! I did not have corn flakes, but crushed a
sleeve of saltine crackers (I had to triple the recipe for my 4.5lb
chicken), and I added a tsp of sugar and a tablespoon of a dry
"barbecue" flavoring he uses when he makes "his" barbecue sauce.
With the larger quantity of chicken, I cooked it 55 min, and another
20 to be sure it was done - and it was absolute perfection! He's
starting to think I can cook. Please don't let the cat out of the
bag! The world "owes" you for this one!!
