-Toss together crumbled bacon, potatoes, and onion in a
bowl; set aside.
-Melt bacon grease in saucepan over medium-high heat;
stir in flour; slowly whisk in water and vinegar; stir in
sugar; continue cooking, stirring constantly, until
thickened.
-Pour hot mixture over potatoes in the bowl.
-Serve hot.
Make It A Meal:
Serve with Cabbage Rolls
and German Almond Puff
for dessert.

we make
this with Hot Dogs instead of bacon, when the
sauce is done we add the potatoes to the sauce
and add cheese...we call it hotdog
casserole...it's a must for all family get
togethers!!!

the onions by cooking them in the bacon grease.
Cooked onions go better with a hot salad.
