Recipe By: Dorothy Bublick (Robbie's great-aunt)
Serves: 8
Prep. Time: 0:45

2 eggs - beaten
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 heaping tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup chopped walnuts

Herbs & Spices at the Firehouse Pantry


-Beat together all ingredients, except dates and walnuts.
-Gently stir in dates and walnuts.
-Pour into greased 9" pie plate.
-Bake in a 325 degree oven for 30 minutes.

Notes: Serve warm, topped with whipped cream.
