  • Your Creamed Spinach recipe is absolutely to die for. I love creamed spinach and especially fond of Boston Markets. I recently found one that is better. It's at the "Golden Corral". But, don't go hunting it down because yours is better tahn any I've ever tasted. I'll be cooking at home more now.

  • Love it, love it. I'm 1 of those strange people that love spinach, raw or cooked.

  • I made the Creamed Spinach. It was delicious. I added a little more salt and a pinch of pepper. And one half teaspoon of sugar. A restaurant in our area makes it and adds jalapeno peppers to it. I tried adding the peppers the next time I made it and it as even better

  • I am from Australia and when I saw creamed spinach I though "oh yuck....not in a million years!!! But I made it anyway as my husband wanted spinach...and to my surprise it was the most wonderful vegetable recipe I have ever tasted. I have made it twice this week....the only thing I did different was I put the creamed spinach into puff pastry and made it into a pie. I also added some of my homemade chilli to it . I will be making this recipe once a week through the winter. Absolutely the best. I would rather have an extra serving of this and not bother with dessert (sweets) I am checking out heaps of other recipes on your site here as well.....haven't yet made any of the others as I just can't get past the creamed spinach yet lol.

  • This was scrumptuous! I tripled the recipe to make enough for eight people. To reduce calories I replaced the cream with water for the roux and just added a few extra tablespoons of light cream cheese. Instead of butter-sauteing the spinach, I squeezed it dry and mixed in a little onion powder, cumin, and garlic. It was loved by all, and no one left without first asking for the recipe, so thank you! I also had about a 1/2 cup of the spinach leftover and used that to make a spinach/artichoke dip simmering together 1/3 cup water, four slices "Naturally Light" Land o' Lakes Jalepeno cheese and 1 small jar drained artichoke hearts. Ate this with toasted pita chips and veggies. Yum!

  • we made it last night and it is even better than boston market. I will admit i added a little extra cheese, but onlt a bit. we will do this side with christmas dinner from now on. GREAT!!!!

  • I had some creamed spinach in Louisille, KY (of all places) which was exceptional...when I got back to toronto, I found your recipe - was even better than Louiville!

  • i tried it with fresh spinach instead of frozen...yum

  • Yummy. My 10 year old has loved creamed spinach since she was a baby and her brother worked at Boston Market. We've tried different recipes over the years, but this was the easiest and it turned out great. I will use more onions next time because we all love the flavor of onions with our veggies.

  • i tried this recipe in august, it was fantastic, just like boston market. i lost the recipe and searched the internet until i found it, i will never loss it aqain.

  • I have made this recipe numerous times. I am on a low carb diet and I substitute 3tbs of cornstarch for the 1/4 cup of flour. This recipe is GREAT! and best of all my kids love it. Better than Boston market if you tweak it to taste. Thank you, thank you, thank you

  • I dont know what you guys are talking about... but it's great!

  • Delish! I have made the recipe as written, and also made it with light versions of the cream cheese and half-and-half. They were both very good. Very rich and creamy

  • I used this recipe for creamed spinach and not only was it a hit at home but my husband told a few of his co-workers that I had made creamed spinach that tastes as good as Boston Market. They were skeptical at first but I made some and he took it to work with him and made them believers.
