I made
this soup yesterday for my husband's birthday. He
loved it!! I did have to alter the original
recipe a little. The consistency was too thick
for our taste. I added 1.75 cups of milk to thin
it out a bit. Thank you for the great recipe. I
will be passing it on to my friends!
I tried
this soup and it was absolutely wonderful!! I
also added additional milk to thin just a bit. I
would like to add a suggestion: try adding a few
crumbles of bleu cheese and a few drops of hot
sauce to each bowl. Also, try using a rotisserie
chicken from your local grocery store, it saves
time-just pick a part, chop and add to the
soup-tastes even better : )
I tried
this recipe earlier this week, and it was so
simple, and good. I am making it again tonight,
and I have added more chicken broth, than the
recipe called for, as it did seem to be a bit too
thick... but otherwise it is such a no fail
recipe, and so very good. Thanks for your
wonderful web site, I have tried so many recipes
from this site. Thanks
Liked this
a lot. It would be great on nachos, too. I used a
Tyson precooked chicken to cut corners, and it
was just awesome.
I JUST WANTED TO TELL YOU
THAT I JUST HAPPENED ACROSS YOUR SITE WHILE LOOKING FOR A BUFFALO
CHICKEN SOUP RECIPE. MY HUSBAND HAD IT AT A LOCAL RESTAURANT AND
LOVED IT. I WAS SO HAPPY TO FIND AND USE THIS RECIPE, IT'S
FANTASTIC!!!
I couldnt believe how
good this soup was! My 24 year old daughter and her spouse came over
while I was cooking it and ended up eating almost ALL of it. I
barely had enough left to let my husband taste it! I'm making a
triple batch for Christmas dinner but I'm going to add some fried
potatoes to it. Also, I made my own wing sauce by combining
K.C.Masterpiece BBQ sauce (3/4 cup), 1/2 stick butter, 7-8 shakes of
Louisianna Hot sauce. Heat thoroughly in saucepan, then add to the
Buffalo Soup when the recipe tells you to! Thank You So Much ...
I made this last night for dinner and my
husband and I both LOVED it! Being from Buffalo, we happen to know a
thing or two about chicken wings. I did add more chicken broth (1
cup totatl) to thin it a little. I cooked the celery to the crunchy
stage, added the full 1/2 cup of hot sauce (we only use Frank's
Louisana hot sauce in Buffalo), and we added bleu cheese dressing at
the table and swirled it in. Definately a winner!
ilove theat recipe my husband made
yeterday
This recipe is the "BOMB". I am
stationed in Germany and made this for my friend, they fell in
love.
I made this recipe last night for my
husband, he LOVED it! He said it was really filling (I agree I
couldnt finish my bowl), we like our soups pretty thick and didnt
add any extra milk or broth, although when I heat up the leftovers
I may add some more. I LOVE your site and have found a ton of new
favorites on here, thanks!
very good soup thank you
After I cooked everything - I ran it
thru the blender. I had lap band surgery and creamier foods agree
with me more. it was DELICIOUS!!!
I made this recipe at the
firehouse, everybody loved it and wanted the recipe. Added
Jalapenos and Tortilla chips for a little extra kick. Great
recipe. I am looking forward to trying some of your other soups.
Last night, i made this soup it was
very good.I change it up alittle bit. I like thinner soup i added
1 C Milk and by mistake i added a whole can 16oz chicken broth. I
was thin once i added the cheese it was fine. I can not handle
real hot spices, i cut the hot sauce down to 1 tsp or 1Tblsp,
cayenne pepper to 1/8 tsp. It was very tastey for me it had enough
spice to it.
+1 on adding more milk and broth. It
was really thick with the original recipe. It was delicious. I
think im going to add some potatoes to it as well.. The original
recipe would make an outstanding dip for nachos as stated
previously.
