Beef & Onion Pie

Serves: 6-8

1 lb. ground beef
2 packets French onion soup mix
1 cup warm water
12 slices American cheese OR Velveeta
®
2 cans refrigerated biscuits

Ingredients at Firehouse Pantry


-Brown beef in a skillet; drain; return to heat.
-Stir in onion soup mix until beef is coated; stir in water; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
-Spread beef mixture in a 13" X 9" X 2" baking pan.
-Lay cheese slices over beef.
-Lay uncooked biscuits in a single layer over cheese.
-Bake in a 350 degree oven for 12-16 minutes, until biscuits are golden.

  • This was a good, simple, and tasty recipe. My only comment is that it was a bit too salty. I will make it again, but with only one packet of onion soup mix

  • This was a really good recipe! Thank you! It was so quick and easy to make. It was very filling too. I am not really big on how salty onion soup is, so I took the advice and used 1 packet. I decided to try it with mozzarella cheese instead of American. It was so delicious. I really enjoyed this meal.
